SuFEx-IT is click-chemistry reagent that is a much safer analog of SO₂F₂ gas, that offers more simple procedure and less hazard to health. Even more, SuFEx-IT possesses greater reactivity, selectivity compere to SO₂F₂. The F-SO₂⁺ fragment attaches to H-containing acceptor groups such as phenols and amines to give fluorosulfates and sulfoamoyl fluorides respectively with good yields.
